Ideas to get you started

All BVCS students, staff, and families can participate in the 2023 Do-A-Thon by serving, raising funds and earning prizes. 

1. SERVE: Every BVCS student will impact the world by serving others. Over 13 local and foreign missions!

2. ASK your friends and family to be a sponsor

3. RESULT: MONEY RAISED for BVCS and missions.

LET’S LIVE OUT THE BVCS MISSION!

To be a part: 

ALL-SCHOOL PROJECT: Each BVCS grade level has been assigned a mission organization to connect with and serve throughout the rest of this school year!

INDIVIDUAL SERVE PROJECTS: 

CREATE a project that has personal meaning and makes an impact in our community by serving others

SERVE + SOMEONE + FOR A TIME = A Project!

EXAMPLES:

• Memorize all of Psalm 100 and recite it to your grandparents at Thanksgiving dinner.

• Record yourself reading 10 bedtime stories aloud and send to 10 friends/family who may be feeling alone.

• Take your neighbors friendly dog(s) on a walk or run for 5 days in a row.

• Write 25 thank you notes (or draw pictures) to first responders between.

• Sign up to serve at BVCS through Helper Helper

For younger children:

• Wash the car

• Fold clothes or match socks

• Feed the dog

• Draw a picture for grandparents or and elderly neighbor

• Rake leaves

• Walk the dog

• Walk a neighbor’s dog

• Give their old toys away

• Clean their room

• Clean the yard

• Paint a picture for someone

• Water the grass

• Take flowers to someone
