GOAL: Raise $100,000 for BVCS IMPACT Fund

BVCS Do-A-Thon will be November 1-14.  It’s Do-A-Thon time! It’s that time to gather all the kids' energy and have them help earn money for their school!!  Last year we earned over $125,000. It's back this year, bigger and better! 

With the Do-A-Thon all BVCS students and staff can participate to raise funds and earn prizes.  Please read both sides of this flier for important information regarding the guidelines and how to fill out sponsor forms or Text2Fund.  Thanksgiving Do-A-Thon celebration will be November 14 PS-6 and JH/HS Serve Day coming Spring 2025!

IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT THIS YEAR’S DO-A-THON

• SERVE: This year each grade will be assigned a mission that is a non-profit and aligns with the values and faith that BVCS holds. As the kids go around getting sponsored, 90% of the money will go to Big Valley Christian School directly and 10% will go to their specific mission

• ASK your friends and family to sponsor and raise funds for BVCS and missions! 

  • Collect $100 from sponsors to start earning prizes.

• Special prizes will be given away in a drawing at the final rally.  Every sponsor you turn in gets your name into the drawing! 

• There will also be a SPECIAL DRAWING for three top prizes that your student can win if they turn in at least $300.  

Exciting prizes this year are:  

T-Shirt

With $100 in sponsorships, you can earn this year’s BVCS Do-A-Thon shirt!  

We do our best to fit every participant with the appropriate size, but shirt sizes are on a first come, first serve basis.

Custom Puzzle

With $200 in sponsorships you will also earn a Disco Ball Light.

Hoodie

With $300 in sponsorships you will also earn the BVCS Do-A-Thon sweatshirt!  

This prize will be awarded after the Do-A-Thon and ordered with your choice of size.

30 oz Stanley Tumbler

With $500 in sponsorships you will also earn a Lava Lamp.

Duffel Bag

With $1000 in sponsorships you will also earn a Polaroid Camera Bundle.

LED Cross & Lion Wall Art

With $2500 in sponsorships you will also earn a BVCS Spirit Bundle

How to Donate: Give through Text2Fund or fill out Sponsor Forms

Instructions for donations through Text2Fund (debit/credit):

• Choose amount to donate and include person’s name you are sponsoring

Instructions for donations on Sponsor Forms (cash, check):

• Need more forms? 

  1. Go to the website: www.bvcs.org and click on the Do-A-Thon button.

  2. Click on form link and print forms

• Sponsor forms are not needed for Text2Fund donations. Use forms for cash or checks.

• Turn in your completed forms to your teacher each day as you complete them, along with any money you have received.  

Instructions for class projects:

• We are so excited to launch our new missions focus this year. Each grade level will find out their mission organization they are paired with at the opening rally. They will spend the Do-A-Thon learning about their mission and deciding on ways to connect and serve. 10% of every dollar raised by their class for BVCS Impact fund will go to their mission organization.
