BRIEF PROFILE

Dr. Shyla earned her doctorate in philosophy in computer science engineering by carrying out extensive research in the fields of artificial intelligence, machine learning, machine intelligence, and intrusion detection systems. This research is included in her thesis, "Effective Framework to Mitigate Security Breaches in Cloud Environment using Machine Intelligence." She has ten years of professional experience in industry, academics, and research. She has published 20 research papers in recognized journals indexed in Web of Science, Scopus, Google Scholar, book chapters, and conference proceedings. She secured over 17 grants for international and national patents, and under her supervision, students conducted research in her field of specialization through major and minor projects as well as doctoral research.
