Cap. Smith had a lot of experience with ships, as he had been working with them since his teenage years, and felt quite comfortable, and confident, leading the Titanic on her maiden voyage.
Sadly, when disaster struck, he decided to go down with his ship, rather live a life full of guilt.
The MOST wealthiest class. If your in this class, you are filthy rich. You get a very lavish lifestyle. You can go anywhere you please, and basically, your royalty. You have access to smoking rooms, cafe's, restaurants, a reading and writing room, a work out room, a spacious area on the boat deck, and a pool! Tickets were about $400, which is around $5,000 in today's money.

Middling class. your not at the bottom, but also not at the top either. In fact, your lucky. You probably don't have to share a room with strangers. You still get to go on deck, but don't pass into the first class area! You also get a smoking room, library, and a dining hall. if your not filthy rich, but also not cheap, this is a great option for you! Tickets were about $65. so, not to shabby.

The class for- well, normal people. If your traveling in third class, your probably am immigrant (and most likely irish), and although your not rich, you may as well be. On any other ship, you would have to bring your own food, blankets, etc. On the Titanic, those things are provided for you. You also have a smoking room (men only!) and a room, although you'll probably have to share with others. Tickets were about $35. Perfect for large families and poor immigrants.
