Email Format for Grades 2-8

  • If students in grades 2-8 are required to sign into anything with their Google account they MUST enter the entire email format and their password. This is different at home than at school because most students just have to type in part of their email to get onto a school device. Please email your child's teacher if your child is unable to access something due to incorrect email/password.

  • The general format of student emails is below:

Graduation year (two digits) First Three letters of the first name, first five letters of the last name @buusd.org

Second grader "Johnny Teststudent" would be 30johtests@buusd.org

Third grader "Sarah Example" would be 29sarexamp@buusd.org

In younger grades, students should use their birthdate as their password in the following formats: mm/dd/yy or mm/dd/yyyy.

Middle school passwords are student generated

If any student gets locked out or has the "wrong password" and can't access their work, please email helpdesk@buusd.org or jvanobte@buusd.org
