Message from the Principal

My name is Hunter Gary and the 2023-2024 School year will be my 4th year as Principal at Morgantown Elementary School. We have made some tremendous strides over the past couple of years and will continue to do so this year as we transition learning from repeating knowledge to fostering curiosity and creating tasks that provoke cognitive engagement.  We are also committed to prepating our students to to be successful as they transition to middle and high school, as well as into the workforce. We love working with our families and community partners to make our students' educational experiences as meaningful as possible. One of our main goals is to create lifelong learners, and it is my belief that the number one way to do that is to develop a love of learning in all students!

If you need to contact me, please call (270)526-3361 or email hunter.gary@butler.kyschools.us
