A few simple rules to help our learning environment stay focused and positive!
Listen and follow directions.
Do not use your hands or words to hurt others.
Be respectful of other students and their learning while in our classroom.
Treat each other and school property respectfully.
These are a few progressive consequences for most infractions!
Proximity - If a student displays actions that require more attention from the teacher, we use proximity to address the behavior and be more aware of the behavior.
One-on-One Conversation- If the behavior continues and is a distraction to their classmates the student will be asked to move to the back table or outside of the classroom where the teacher will then have a conversation about the behavior.
Behavior forms will be used as a form of communication to inform parents of behaviors happening in school. This will be filled out by the student, taken home, signed, and returned.
Student will be sent to the principal if the behavior displayed by the student seems to harm the well being of his/her classmates. If the behavior is a chronic behavior, we will have a plan set in place for the behavior that may include a safe space such as the principals office.
