I was born and raised in Roseville, Minnesota. I graduated from Wayne State College with my K-12 Health and Physical Education and coaching endorsment. While attending WSC I was a member of the volleyball team. After graduation I was a paraeducator at Burwell High School for a semester before taking my first teaching job in Ord. I was the 7-12 technology teacher for 2 years before transitoning to elementary PE where I was for the past 3 years. While teaching high school courses and elemetary PE here at BPS, I will also serve as the head volleyball coach. I am so excited to be in Burwell and teach in the community I live in. I am married to Mr. Nelson and we have a 1 year old daughter named Blair!
