Hey Friends! Just a little bit about me...

I grew up in LaMarque, which is in the Galveston area, but fell in love with this area as a child. I visited my grandparent's farm in Carmine often on weekends.  After I graduated from high school, I moved up here where I lived on the farm and attended Blinn College before transferring to Texas A&M University.

I graduated from Texas A&M in May 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness. After graduation, I went to work for IKON Office Solutions where I worked as an Account Executive in sales. I enjoyed working in the “corporate world,” but relocated nine months later to Burton. I then worked for Blinn College in the Financial Aid Department for almost two years. I was in charge of the student loan program for all three Blinn College campuses. 

I started my career at Burton High School in August 2004. This is my twenty second year of teaching. I teach photography, graphic design, and I am also the yearbook adviser. I also love assisting the girls' basketball team. GO PANTHERS!!

I am married to Jason Hodde who is the Athletic Director. We have two children, Houston and Harper. We have 3 Aussies and 3 cats. I am also the proud co-owner of a small business, Tribal Trends, a boutique located in downtown Brenham.  

I truly have a passion for what I do and am excited to have the opportunity to work with such extraordinary young women and men.
