A little about me:

Hello! I am Lacy Eckert.  I have lived in the Greenvine community outside of Burton in Washington County my entire life.  I am a 2005 graduate of Brenham High School.  I attended Blinn Jr. College in Brenham and then transferred to Texas A&M University where I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2010.  I am an active member of Greenvine Emmanual Lutheran Church in Greenvine, Gather n Grace - Burton, and Next Generation Youth Ministry.  

I have a passion for education and for the youth of Burton.  In my free-time you can find me cheering on the Panthers and Lady Panthers to another victory at many different sporting events and volunteering with the Next Generation Youth Ministry Group. I also enjoy cooking and trying new recipes, canning veggies and jams, spending time in my yard with my pets and gardening, reading, researching ancestry/family history, and enjoying time with family, church family,  and friends. 

I have 3 cats (the princess) Izzy, our outdoor porch kitty Charli, I bottle fed and raised an orphan kitten who I named Binx. (pictured below). I also have 2 dogs -- (my rescue pup) - Beaux and (big boy) - Buddy.
