What if there are mistakes in the the Yearbook? This book is a student-created publication, and there are sure to be mistakes every year. All typos, errors, and/or omissions are not intentional. We apologize in advance for any mistakes you may find as we do our best to cover the year as accurately as possible within the time constraints of Jostens' strict deadlines.
What rights does Jostens have to use student information? Jostens, its corporate affiliates, and its independent sales representatives use basic student information to offer products and services including class rings, yearbooks, and class apparel. Jostens complies with applicable privacy laws with respect to its collection and use of Directory Information. More information can be found here.
How will names appear in the yearbook? Names next to the formal portrait sections will appear exactly as they appear in school records. Nicknames and preferred names may be used in captions.
What grade will students' portraits appear in? Grade levels are determined by the Guidance Department. The Yearbook Staff has no say in which grade level students are assigned to. These are the minimum credit requirements to move to the next grade level:
5.5 to become a Sophomore
11.5 to become a Junior
17.5 to become a Senior
What if a student misses their club's group photo for the yearbook? The Yearbook Staff works with all club sponsors to set the date and time for group photos, and they give everyone a lot of notice. However, it's hard to predict if someone will be absent or unavailable. Due to deadline constraints, no make up club photos will be taken.
What clubs will be listed for seniors near their portraits? Some years clubs are listed next to the senior portraits and some years the staff decides to feature seniors another special way. Seniors filled out a Google Form to list all of the clubs and organizations they would like listed near their portraits. It is their responsibility to let the Yearbook staff know in this way. The Staff is not responsible for missing information.
