• Schedule Changes 

  • Students will have 10 days from the start of the school year to drop or add any classes in their schedule. Last day to change schedules is September 8th. 

    • Please note: we do not allow any lateral changes or teacher changes and electives are will vary depending on size and availability!

• Westmoreland County Community College - College in the High School Courses

  • WCCC parent proxy form for College in the High School (CHS) is due Monday , September 21st at the end of the school day in the guidance office.

  • This is only for year long and Fall semester courses (not the spring)! - $63 / credit

  • Forms have been handed out in class

  • Only 1 form needs to be submitted by the student. 

• Seton Hill College in the High School Courses

  • If you are taking Fall or year long  CHS courses through Seton Hill, complete the registration form through the link here  -> chs.setonhill.edu  

  • Registration opens Monday, September 28, 2026 through Friday, October 30, 2026

  •  The fee is $235 per course and payment is due upon completion of the registration process.

• SAT Boot Camp - September 27th 12 PM - 5 PM, Fox Chapel Area HS LGI

  • SAT Boot Camp is a 5-hour intensive workshop focused on test taking, time-management, grammar, usage, math, and critical reading skills and strategies. This is a great opportunity, whether you are just getting started in SAT preparation or if you want a final boost of confidence before taking the exam.

• Laurel Technical Institute - New location at Penn Township, PA

  • This Penn Township location is a satellite campus of Laurel Business Institute in Uniontown, PA

  • Programs such as: Computer Network Security Technician, Electrical Technician, Practical Nursing, etc. are offered at this location. Multiple Hybrid-Online Programs are also offered that include in-person local externship experiences.
