BHS’s district goal is to get students' futures ready through real life experiences and community engagement. We have realized that we need to rethink education for our students and bridge the gap between what they know and what they need. Let me tell you a little bit about our program. We have worked with and toured global and local companies, created in-house projects, independent studies, and our STEM team has competed in multi-district events. We are proud of our program because our developing relationships across the community have opened up job experiences for our students, and have helped us plan for future courses and experiences.
You don't need to have a class in here to come down. Drop by or send an email; we will get you trying new things and working on new projects in no time! If you want to try programming a robot, creating a pod cast, 3D printing, laser cutting/etching, graphics, and more stop on in.
Calio Zanella, David Kleckner, Aaron Holm, Adam Scheftic, and Brayden Snyder are learning how to program our new robot Alfie. If you are interested in doing this, please let us know.
