Pippin

Pippin was the spring musical in 2011. It featured Jesse Oddis in his one and only on stage appearance at Burrell High School as the titular character. It was also the final theatrical venture of Sam Kuchta as stage manager at Burrell High School, who has since gone on to study Theater at Slippery Rock University and now pursues an MFA in scenic design at the University of Georgia. Connolly has often pointed to Pippin as a corner turning show for the group in terms of production value. The make up design was done by Leah Mazza, who would return as an alum to assist with art on Mr. Burns and Little Shop of Horrors. Laura Luksik choreographed Pippin, in her first of two musicals she would work on with the group. Pippin was also the premiere of freshman Emily Sharick in a lead role as Catherine and the final performance of Tim Mitchell, who also had major roles in Kiss Me, Kate, Sherlock Holmes, and The Crucible.
