~~ What the workshops involves ~~
This workshop will be run by WitSoc (Women in Tech Society, The University of Canterbury) to give all high school girls in the Canterbury region an opportunity to upskill in programming. It will have a workshop format with lessons and hands-on experience collaboratively solving programming puzzles with help from the expert ladies from WitSoc.
The first session will be a guided study into using Python to solve programming puzzles. After that, we'll get into teams and work together to solve a series of puzzles, similar to the types you'd see in any programming competition.
