About the Burn Fund
The British Columbia Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund is dedicated to supporting child and adult burn survivors through their recovery journeys every step of the way. Through funding for hospital equipment and garments that assist recovery, to home away from home accommodations at the Burn Fund Centre, the Burn Fund provides care to these individuals following a traumatic and life changing event. Prevention is the Burn Fund’s cure, and the organization also leads burn and fire prevention education for children and families across the province of BC and the Yukon.
About Virtual Burn Camp
Burn Camp 2021 will be hosted virtually for what will hopefully be the last time! The Burn Camp Committee and the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund are excited to host you at Virtual Burn Camp 2021. With multiple activities and workshops to join in on from Friday July 23rd to Saturday July 24th, there is something fun for everyone!
Similar to last year, there will be time to meet as an entire group and in cabin groups, but there will also be optional activities to attend! There will be instructor-led workshops on a wide rang of interests, a magic show from a favourite Burn Camp magician, and even a movie watching party.
These difficult circumstances do not diminish the spirit of Burn Camp or the love that we feel for our Burn Camp Family. After all, we all know that attitude is everything!
