Hi, I'm Mrs. Beckner

I grew up in Corpus Christi and Ingleside, and I’m a proud graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor's Degree in Multidisciplinary Studies. This is my 12th year teaching, and I still love it just as much as when I started!

I’ve been married to my wonderful husband for 32 years, and we have been blessed with two beautiful daughters, two amazing sons-in-law, and three precious grandchildren.

Our oldest daughter, Ashlea (31), is married to Matthew. They live in Abilene and are the proud parents of Grant (6), Lauryn (3), and Beaux (2). Our younger daughter, Jessica (27), is a 2nd grade teacher in Tomball. She and her husband, David, live in Spring.

We’ve called Burnet home for the past 26 years, and raising our family here has been a true blessing. Family means everything to us. When we’re all together, we love playing board games, cooking, watching great movies, spending time on or near the water, and going on fun adventures. Every moment with family is something we truly treasure!

My Favorites: 

University of Texas Longhorn Football, reading, listening to music, gardening, cooking, my animals, my family, and definitely great coffee.
