About Me

Welcome to Culinary Arts 1 with Miss Barr! 

This year marks my 16th year at BTHS, and I am excited to continue sharing my passion for culinary arts with my students!

I graduated from Immaculata University with a degree in Family and Consumer Sciences Education and also earned a diploma in Baking and Pastry Arts from York Technical Institute. Over the years, I have gained hands-on experience working in restaurants and bakeries, helping manage a farmers market stand, and even running my own in-home cake business.

I love bringing my real-world experiences into the classroom and giving students the opportunity to build their skills, try new things, and get creative in the kitchen. I’m looking forward to another great year and can’t wait to see the creative dishes, unique ideas, and culinary adventures my students have in store!
