Burlington Township High School Hall of Fame
Purpose: The Burlington Township High School Athletic Hall of Fame Committee is a non-profit organization established on April 2, 2008 to recognize those students and coaches who have brought distinction, honor, and excellence in sports at Burlington Township High School. The committee hopes to preserve the rich heritage and legacy of its athletes, coaches, contributors and teams while providing additional motivation for current students who will view our athletic Hall of Fame honorees as excellent role models for their future. All honored alumni will exemplify the tremendous spirit and winning tradition that makes Burlington Township High School athletic programs successful.
Categories of Eligible Nominees:
Student Athletes will be eligible for consideration 5 years after graduation. Candidates must have demonstrated athletic accomplishments that represent the highest level of achievement for their area of completion.
Coaches will be eligible for consideration 5 years after retiring from coaching at Burlington Township High School. Candidates must have made outstanding contributions to the field of athletics and provided exemplary leadership to the student athletes of Burlington Township High School.
Athletic Teams will be considered for recognition 5 years after completion of the relevant season. Teams that have displayed extraordinary performances, records, and had outstanding seasons at Burlington Township High School.
Special Honorary Contributors will be considered for recognition at the discretion of the selection committee. Candidates will have made outstanding contributions and/or offered extraordinary services to the student athletes and the athletics programs at Burlington Township High School.
Nomination Process: All nominations received before October 15 of an even year will be considered by the committee for the following odd year's induction. All nominations received will be held and reviewed for 5 years.
