Course Details: The Sulphur Springs Trail Race is a 20K loop course, and offers trail runners of all skills a little something to enjoy - with a mixture of groomed trail to moderately challenging single track, with rolling easy hills and steep climbs and descents. All nestled in the beautiful setting of the Niagara Escarpment where natural springs flow and streams babble in the background; and if you are lucky enough, you'll catch a glimpse of a deer bounding along as you run by. Truly a runner’s paradise.
Lost in the Woods since 1992: Join us as we celebrate the 35th year of this race in 2027. The Burlington Runners Club is proud to be the host of Canada's Oldest Ultra-Marathon.

One of the best days of running you will ever experience is what awaits you at Sulphur Springs. The rolling course weaves its way on a 20K loop through the beautiful trails of the Dundas Valley Conservation Area in the City of Hamilton, Ontario (formerly the Town of Ancaster). Each loop offers you over 500m of elevation gain and an opportunity to regroup, refuel and recharge with your team at the crew tent area.
The race offers events for everyone from the casual weekend warrior to the hard-core racer and the corporate team looking for a group challenge. 10K, 20K, 50K, 50 Miles, 100K, + 100 Miles, with two Team Relay options: 50 Mile Night Relay (up to 4 runners), or the 100 Mile Team Relay (up to 8 runners).
