BSD Library Policies

Check Out: Students may check out up to 5 books for a period of 2 weeks. Books may be renewed, but must be present to extend the check out period.

Overdue Books: If a student has an overdue book, check out privilege will be suspended until the book has been returned or cleared. If the book is lost or damaged beyond repair, families may choose one of these options to clear the item from the student's account.

    1. Pay the replacement fee, usually $15.00 unless otherwise stated.

    2. Replace the book with an exact copy. If the book is out of print or unavailable, you may select a book from our Amazon wish list . Be sure to note that it is to replace a lost book.

    3. Make arrangements for the student to "work off" the fine by helping out in the library during lunch, or before/after school.
