Color Harmony Portraits

For our color harmony portraits, students chose one of two available harmonies...monochromatic or analogous! The students did an amazing job, and further solidified their practice of mixing paint to the appropriate value and color.

Collage

Collage is the practice of usikng mixed media to create a work of art- commonly using magazines and glue. Students worked hard to create an artwork that represented themselves.

Zine

Zine- short for “Magazine” , is a “small publication, typically self-published, created on a photo-copier, and distributed in small quantities. Zines started in the 1930s with Science Fiction Fanzines, but did not become popular until the 70's with the rise of the punk subculture.”

Students were tasked with creating a Zine based around something that interested them, and use their visual problem solving skills to make a cohesive spread.
