Class Overview
Fine Arts, is a required course at BCIT. The focus of this course is for students to develop skills in Art using the Elements of Art and Principals of Design. Students will explore many art mediums and hands-on experiences. Students will be challenged to express their personal connections, cultural backgrounds and self reflection.
Hi, I'm Ms. Irvin
I graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2017 with a degree in Communication and Film Studies. Knowing that I wanted to flourish on a more creative path, I took a leap of faith into the world of art. After realizing the powerful and positive influence the art community had on my life, I decided that teaching it and sharing its magic was the greatest opportunity to give back. In 2024 I began my educational journey at BCIT, while also managing to create my own art.
