Every week close all tabs and shutdown your Chromebook. This can help clear out any temporary files or processes that may be slowing down your device.
Keep your Chromebook charged; letting it discharge completely can be harmful to your Chromebook.
If your Chromebook will not turn on or charge, If you have anything connected to this Chromebook (such as a mouse or external hard drive), remove it. Then plug in the charger and press the ‘esc + ↻ + power button' Your CB will go into “recovery mode”, be patient it might take a few seconds. Close CB and then open it and you should be able to sign in.
Keyboard typing wrong letters - go to settings and make sure the keyboard is set to "US English."
Wi-Fi at BCIT, use only BurlCoSchools-IT.
If your TrackPad is not working, close all tabs and sign out. Power down and then restart your Chromebook.
Do not make any physical modifications to the Chromebook or disassemble the Chromebook.
