Welcome to the Salem Elementary Counselor's Nook 

Hi there! My name is Ms. Armentrout, and I am so excited for this 2026-27 school year! This will be my 3rd year as a School Counselor.

I graduated from Appalachian State University in 2022 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Language and Literacy, and in May 2024 with a Master’s Degree in Professional School Counseling.

My goal is to support the social, emotional, and educational needs of our students. I look forward to building relationships with students, parents, and the community of Salem Elementary. It is also my goal to empower families through education and community resources. If there is anything I can do to help support your child or your family, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.
