Chamber Singers, Level III/IV:
Prerequisite: Minimum one year of Mixed Chorus and/or Concert Choir and Audition
The most advanced ensemble at Patton High School, Chamber Singers is a small ensemble of primarily upperclassmen that have successfully completed at least one year in a choral ensemble at Patton and have successfully auditioned for entrance into Chamber Singers. Students in Chamber Singers are expected to perform in a minimum of four concerts and one rated competition throughout the school year, graduation, and other public events as members are invited to perform. Like Mixed Chorus and Concert Choir, Chamber Singers is a required year-long course. Students at this level will gain an in-depth understanding of music reading and composing theories. Students who have successfully completed a calendar year in Chamber Singers will have greatly refined performance techniques and will be prepared for music studies at the post-secondary level.
Chamber Singers—Honors:
In addition to the requirements Chamber Singers must fulfill, students enrolled in Chamber Singers for Honors credit must complete the following requirements to receive full credit for the class:
