**Outline of the BCPS meal distribution plan as we begin Plan B, starting February 22, 2021**
Elementary Students
Elementary students will be back in school buildings four days a week starting Feb. 22. Wednesdays will be set aside as remote enrichment and remediation days, but we still want students to have access to meals five days a week. Parents: Please complete this form https://bit.ly/bcpsmealorders if you wish for your student(s) to receive a fifth day of meals. The take-home meals will be distributed each Friday. The form only needs to be filled out once and will be good for the remainder of the school year as elementary school students are in in-person learning four days a week. Students enrolled in Wednesday daycare are not eligible for these meals as the meals will automatically be provided at daycare on Wednesdays. Full-day daycare parents should not fill out this form as these meals will be counted as duplicate meals and will be billed to your child's lunch account.
Middle and High Students
Middle and high school students will return to school buildings two days a week starting Feb. 22 on an A-day/B-day schedule. No forms are required for take-home meals for middle and high school students. The take-home meals will be distributed on Thursdays for A-day students and on Fridays for B-day students and will include three days worth of meals for students' remote days.
Virtual Academy students
Parents of Burke Virtual Academy students are asked to complete this form https://bit.ly/BCPSvirtualmeals by 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 19 to receive five days worth of meals. The meal packages include three meals per day (with the exception of holidays.) Meals will be ready for pick up between 4:30 and 6 p.m. on Tuesdays at the high school of the parent's choosing.
