Hello! My name is Jeanie Walker, and I am thrilled to be your school counselor at Drexel Elementary. My role is to support students, families, and staff in academics, careers, and the social/emotional development of students. I look forward to working with you to make a difference in the lives of the students here at Drexel. 

I graduated in 2021 from Salem College with a masters in school counseling and am national board certified in literacy. I taught for 17 years, with 12 of those years being in elementary grades. I live in Collettsville along Johns River with my husband, 2 dogs, 1 cat, and a duck. We have a son, Grayson, who attends NC State University. I love spending time with my family, cooking, and traveling.
