Students will immerse themselves in the transformative era of the Industrial Revolution through a hands-on Lego Assembly Line simulation and a robotics challenge using Lego Spike robotics kits. Through this hands-on learning, students will deepen their understanding of the evolution of manufacturing while exploring foundational engineering and programming skills.
Students will dive into the anatomy and functions of the human brain, exploring key structures such as the cerebrum, cerebellum, and brainstem, as well as their roles in daily activities and complex processes. Through interactive models, diagrams, and hands-on activities, students will learn how different regions of the brain contribute to movement, memory, emotions, and decision-making.
Students will explore the anatomy of the brain by participating in a sheep brain dissection. Guided by diagrams and scientific vocabulary, students will make connections between the structures they observe in the sheep brain and the human brain, gaining a deeper understanding of neuroscience and the complexity of the brain's role in behavior, cognition, and sensory processing.
