The Pride of Burke County is one of Burke County High School's largest student organization, consisting of over 100 students involved in many different ensembles that practice and perform throughout the entire year. In many ways, the band is the face of the school in the community, giving performances at public concerts, parades, sporting events, Board of Education functions, local business openings or special activities, and other events.

Who we are
The band is currently under the direction of Mr. D'Wayne DuBose, Mr. Devon Hill and assisted by BCMS directors Mr. Samuel Speering and Ms. Regina Thomas. The Color Guard (Blue Silk) and Dance Team (Blue Motion) are under the instruction of Ms. Alacia Stone and Latashia Parrish. Mr. Jermal Harris is the percussion instructor. Mr. Reginald Carswell is the Logistics Coordinator.
