voluntary Field Trips

PLEASE NOTE for EXTRACURRICULAR TRIPS!

Because seating for these trips is limited, the privilege to travel with the group is given to students who :

- - 1. have NO behavior concerns throughout the school year.
    2. have missed NO required concerts this school year.
    3. are involved in extracurricular chorus activities.
    4. are passing chorus with a 90 or above.
    5. are passing all academic courses (according to BCHS handbook)

These trips are designed to reward students who have given their time and commitment to the Chorus program. Students who do not qualify this year are invited to participate.

Fox Theatre

General Information

Selected Fine Arts students ONLY!
Date of trip: November 13, 2025 (the day before Digital Learning day)
We will travel by charter bus to the show at the Fox Theatre to see Hadestown!
Ticket price includes bus ride, dinner at the Varsity, and show ticket to see the musical we choose.
Students with documented behavior issues will not be allowed to make this trip. Please see Chorus Handbook for field trip policies.
Detailed information will be given to students in class, and will also be posted in the form of a slide show here as it becomes available.

New York City

General Information

Dates of trip: June 4-7, 2026.
Some activities we will do include:
- Visit Radio City Music Hall
- Go to the Statue of Liberty
- Shop in Chinatown and Little Italy
Students with documented behavior issues will not be allowed to make this trip. Please see Chorus Handbook for field trip policies.
A slideshow and informational sheet will be made available to students as soon as information about the 2024-2025 trip becomes available.

Carowinds Remind

A special Remind account will be set up for this trip. Mrs. Crose will be sending out updates about departure, arrival, and expected return times. Students will be given information to sign up as the information becomes available and appropriate to share.
