Welcome to the 2023-2024 School Year! I am so excited to meet you and your family!

I am happy to be back in the "Bulldog Way"! I grew up in Burkburnett, graduated from Burkburnett, and am proud to call Burkburnett my home. As we like to say around here, "Once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog!" 

A little bit about me..I am married to Scott, and we have 2 children. My daughter Hannah and her husband, Elijah, have two sons who made me a grandmother! Beau is almost 5, and Shepherd turned 2 this past July.  Being a grandparent is indescribably the best! I also have a son, Sam, who is working on his welding certification. Family time is my absolute favorite time! 

I received my bachelors degree at Midwestern State University and my masters degree at University of Texas @ Arlington. This will be my 19th year in education as a teacher. I have taught Kinder, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades. I have been an elementary interventionist, and I'm trained in multisensory phonics programs to teach as a dyslexia specialist.  

It's my goal this year to create a classroom family that loves to read, learn, have fun, and hang out together every day!
