My name is McKena Shafer, I'm from Iowa Park, TX. I graduated from Electra Jr./Sr. High School in 2018 and then graduated from West Texas A&M in the fall of 2021. I will be teaching  your kids Advanced Floral Design, Intro to Floral Design, and Intro to Ag.  I have been involved with agriculture my whole life. I found my passion for the plant science industry when I was in my floral design class in high school. From then on I knew I wanted to take my creativity and share with the younger generations. So, I'm your typical Ag Nerd and I'm fine with it. 

My main purpose is to teach your children is that they can do anything they set their minds to. I'm going to help them push themselves out of their comfort zones and teach them employable skills to get through life outside of school. 

Fun Fact: I'm actually back in school for my Masters of General Agriculture! I also teach with my older brother at the high school!
