The 2021-22 Burkburnett High School Baseball team will play this year in honor of its all-time winningest baseball coach, Mike Leach, who passed away this past September. We want to extend our prayers to Coach Leach's extended family but especially to his wife, Carla, and his children Mike, Pat and Carly, as well as his grandchildren. Coach Leach was the Head Baseball Coach for the Bulldogs from 1996-2013. Coach Leach was a mentor to current Burkburnett Head Baseball Coach Scot Green. Coach Green coached with Coach Leach at McNiel JH from 1993-95.
Coach Leach, thanks for your devoted time, passion, energy and love you gave to the students and staff of the Burkburnett ISD. You are surely missed by us all!!
