Burkburnett High School is excited to offer an after school competitive archery program. The team competes in the National Archery in the Schools (NASP) program, which is also taught in the Outdoor Adventures classes at both the middle school and high school.
The high school team was able to qualify for the state tournament in its first year at placed 21st out of 69 teams.
In NASP, all the competitors use the exact same equipment to promote good marksmanship in a completely fair environment. Teams are Co-Ed and can consist of as many as 24 individuals. If we have more than 24 participants, a second team can be created.
We practice twice-a-week after school and also have a shooting period during the success period in school. If you are involved in other extra-curricular
