I am originally from Odessa, TX and came to this area on a soccer scholarship and played for the then, Midwestern State Indians. After graduating from MSU, I started out my teaching profession in 2003 at Burkburnett High School and coached High School soccer for 2 years. After the birth of our first child I stepped away from coaching and moved to Burkburnett Middle School until the fall of 2008. I had the privilege of serving as the North Texas Area and the North Region Executive Director for Special Olympics Texas for 12 years. In 2020 I came back to where it all began. I am extremely motivated to advocate and help those with disabilities and their families and all educational partners understand the power and value of inclusion.
The Lord has blessed me with such a loving and compassionate family that has really embraced the special needs community. My wife Alaina and I have 5 children, 4 beautiful daughters, 1 who just recently got married and 1 son whom we adopted in January of 2023.
