Welcome to Coach Torres' classroom! It is a huge privilege to be able to teach in my hometown of Burkburnett! I graduated in 2018 from Burkburnett High School, and from Midwestern State University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts. 

In my spare time I enjoy watching and playing soccer (whenever I am able to). My favorite soccer team is Manchester United. I also enjoy watching football (my team is the Dallas Cowboys). Of course, I enjoy doing all of this in the company of my family and friends. When I am by myself, I enjoy reading and watching any history documentary, as well as playing video games. 

I enjoy traveling and exploring new places. Most recently, I had the chance to visit Rome and the Vatican, where I immersed myself in the rich history, art, and culture.

This school year I will be teaching Personal Financial Literacy/Economics and Advanced World Geography. Furthermore, I will be the boy's assistant soccer coach, and the girl's assistant cross country coach this year! I look forward to the upcoming school year, and to having you in my classroom!
