Hi, my name is Tanna Anderson. This will be my 12th year in education, and my 3rd year as a Head Start teacher for 3 year olds! My husband Lane and I celebrated our 12th year of marriage this past June. We also adopted our first son Timothy last December! He is such a joy! We have 5 dogs (Moose, Raider, Coco, Piper-Two and Ranger) 2 cats (Jazz and Ziggy) and 5 horses (Sage (Lane's horse), Jojo, Birdie, Chance (my horse) and Ladybug (Timothy's horse)).  I am the proud Aunt T to 6 nephews and 1 neice! 

I earned my BS in Interdisciplinary Studies from West Texas A&M in 2011. I started back to school in 2014 and earned my MA in Christian Education at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2017. Prior to coming to Burkburnett ISD, I taught at Wichita Christian School. I taught 1st grade for 4 years and 2nd grade for 1 year. I also spent 5 summers working at Wichita Christians Summer Program in which I was lead teacher in 2s, 3s, and 4 year old classrooms. Lane and I have also found a passion in hosting foreign exchange students. We have 5 foreign exchange sons. Two from Germany and three from Spain.

I am looking so forward to a great school year and all the fun that is in store! I can't wait to watch each student learn and grow!
