What Our Year Looks Like

The purpose of this class is to give students a strong foundation for their AP classes during their junior and senior years. As typical of an advanced course, material will be covered at a much quicker pace. Students will be expected to complete work outside of the classroom and will need support from both parents and teachers to be successful.

Grading Policies

Assignments in this class will fall under two categories:

• Major grades/projects/assessments (60% of total)

• Minor grades/homework/quizzes (40%)

BHS allows students to re-take tests for which the student scores below a 70 (excluding semester exams). In order for a student to re-test, they must meet with me and take steps to improve the re-test. Student work done at home will not be subject to this policy and students cannot request a redo for homework.
