Mrs. Lyn Doan

I am energetic and passionate about the beauty industry. I received my Cosmetology license in 1990 at Carrigan Career Center while attending Hirschi High School. In 2011, I received my Instructors License from ITS Academy of Beauty and worked for the same company until June 2018. I have 35 years of experience including owning my own salon in which I balance my time between my own clients and my students. 

My passion in life is to teach my students a skill that they can take with them wherever they may go to make a living, and most of all to motivate them to be better people and give back to the community. 

I love taking my students on field trips to nursing homes and homeless shelters to do hair services to sharpen their skills and to teach them the selfless act of giving and kindness. 

In my personal life, I have been married to my husband for 35 years and we have a son named Kevin who is 31 and no grand kid yet! 

I am very happy to be a part of Burkburnett High Schools team!
