Welcome to the Reading Lab! Just a little information about me:

• This is my 27th year in education. I spent 11 years as a Kindergarten paraprofessional before getting my teacher certification in 2005. I've taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades.
• I graduated with honors from Midwestern State University where I received my bachelor's degree.
• My husband, BJ, and I share 6 children and 10 grandchildren. My 3 children were BISD students and graduates.
• I love dogs! I have a schnauzer named Ziggy, and she's the smartest dog in the whole wide world!
• I enjoy reading, camping, knitting, cross stitching and gardening. I also love to swim-when it's warm outside!
• I'm a HUGE Texas Rangers Fan and Dallas Cowboys Fan.
• And most of all, I LOVE TO READ and support teachers in their classrooms!
