About Me
I will be starting my third year at BMS and I really enjoy being here! I am originally from Louisville Kentucky, but I have lived in Texas for seven years. My husband and I live in Wichita Falls with our two elementary aged daughters. I am a professional artist and I stay involved in the art community in Wichita Falls. I am a part of a drawing group and I have a painting studio downtown. I have had artwork shown in galleries in Kentucky, Oregon, Idaho and Texas. I also teach art camps during the summer at The Kemp Center for the Arts.
I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts from Murray State University in 2002. I received my All-Level Art certification from Midwestern State University in 2011 and my EC-6 General Elementary certification in 2014. The best part of my job is being able to observe the progress students make over the semester. I love seeing them grow as artists and as students.
