While I realize that math is not the favorite subject for a lot of students (or parents!) it's my goal to make the concepts of Algebra I accessible to ALL students. Even though many will eventually choose careers that do not require heavy math skills, Algebra does much to build an ability to think logically and reason through any kind of problem using given parameters. For me, that is the real reason why every student must take Algebra I. The video below gives some amazing examples of how math is important in everyday life.
