Hello! I'm Mrs. Berndt, and I'll be your Art teacher here at BMS!

I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education from Colorado State University and have been teaching art for the past four years. Growing up in a military family, I understand the unique experiences that come with military life, so I'm especially excited to be part of a district that strongly supports military families.

My husband and I have two wonderful kids, and when I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family. I also love baking, weaving, thrifting and going to my favorite coffee shop (collective coffee 😀) 

I'm excited to meet everyone, get creative, and make this a fun, inspiring year. I can't wait to see all the amazing artwork you'll create!
