I am Robin Weatherman, BMS Director of Bands and Woodwind Specialist. I team teach band at both the Middle School and High School with Brian Beeson, Max Salazar and Adam Lewis. This is my 31st year of teaching and my 18th year at Burkburnett ISD. I graduated from Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas, and have always lived in Texas. I have a wonderful 22 year old son, a rescue Yorkie named Bojangles and lots of family in the North Texas area. I look forward to another great school year!

Sept. 18 CON & SYMPH Tentative Pep Rally & Performance at the M.S. Football Game. Load buses at 4:30 PM. Perform from 5-6:45 PM; Wear Bb T-shirt with Jeans or Shorts. Social after Game until 7:45 PM in the M.S. Band Hall J Leadership will reset the band hall from 7:45-8 PM

Oct. 10 CON & SYMPH Performance at the High School Football Game, WEAR ALL 4 B’s… IF cold, wear a solid black thermal underneath your Band polo shirt. Coats are ok for the stands, but must come off for field performance. (Must have passed the 1st Six Wks)
Oct. 15 CON & SYMPH BAND TRIP DEPOSIT DUE (A signed letter of intent/ permission form is due- Sept. 30) Other payments: Nov 17, Jan 15, Feb 18
Oct. 28 CON & SYMPH Tentative Pep Rally & Performance @M.S. Football Game. Social starts at 4:30 PM in the BMS Band Hall. Load Buses @5:30 PM. Perform @Burk HS Stadium from 6:00-7:45 PM; Bb T-shirt/ Jeans or Shorts. Students need rides home by 8 PM. Leadership will reset the band hall from 8-8:15 PM (Students must have passed the 1st Six Wks.)

Nov. 19, 20, 21 SYMPH Tentative dates for Small Symphonic Band Groups Christmas Music Performances @Elementary Schools. Wear Santa Hats.
Dec.1 & 2 BEGINNERS Combined Beginner Rehearsals 3:30-4:30 PM in the M.S. Band Hall (Required of all Beginners; Grades given) After the rehearsal on Dec. 2, we will have a band social. The social will be over at 5 PM.
Dec. 4 ALL BANDS Christmas Concert 5:30 PM in the H.S. Gym (Final Exam for Band) 4 Bs: Black Shoes, Black Socks, Black Pants, Band Polo
