Hello!  I have worked for Burkburnett ISD for the past 19 years in many capacities.  I started out teaching Kindergarten, was a K-5 Reading Specialist, an Assistant Principal and Principal at Tower Elementary, and am now proud to be the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum & Instruction.  I am happy to oversee all things teaching and learning. 

I am also a loyal bulldog because I attended BISD schools from K-12 and obtained my high school diploma from BHS.  I definitely bleed orange!  I am also a graduate of Texas Tech University, where I obtained my degree in Early Childhood Education.  I later completed my M. Ed in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Texas at Arlington, and I recently was awarded a Doctorate Degree from West Texas A&M University in Educational Leadership.  

I have been married to my husband, Jeff, for 21 years, and we have 2 daughters, Carlie (Junior) and Kendall (Freshman), who are both students at Burkburnett High School.  My goal is to partner with you to serve your child!  I strive to create positive and successful learning environments for ALL!!
