Welcome, Chileans!
Mary Chiles College of Arts and Sciences is currently located at Sandico St. Poblacion, Pulilan, Bulacan. There is no existing private secondary school in this part of Pulilan. The incorporators unanimously choose the site since it is far from places that can be detrimental to the students health and school distractions. During the first Board Meeting, Mr. Geronimo G. Durante Sr. and Mrs. Bienvenida C. Durante, the forerunners of the school together with the three Members of the Board agreed to contribute their efforts toward developing children through quality education. The proposal to establish a school was approved by the incorporators. Having a complied with the law and requirements, the Department of Education issued a Government Permit to operate legally. But greater things happened to Mary Chiles College of Arts and Sciences.
The Pre-Elementary was given full Government Recognition No.E-146 series of 2003, the Elementary Level was granted Government Recognition No.E-023 series of 2004 and the Secondary Level was likewise granted Government Recognition No.S-010 series of 2004. Year after year, the academy strives to improve the standard of education to live up to its Motto, “Knowledge and Skills are the keys to the Future” Members of the Academic Teaching Staff are thoroughly screened and trained to their fullest potential to realize the School’s Mission, and actualize its Vision. However, with the dynamic thrust of the educational system in the Philippines, Mary Chiles College of Arts and Sciences seeks to remain relevant and aligned with the programs and developments initiated by the Department of Education, and one of which is the implementation of the K-12 Curriculum. Thus, a committee was developed whose primary role is to revise the PHILOSOPHY, GOALS, MISSION and VISION of Mary Chiles College of Arts and Sciences so that it would best reflect the improvements and developments it undergoes as it continues its commitment of providing quality education for the Filipino youth. It is the wish of the Incorporators that with God’s help one day, they can look back and see that the school has produced professionals who by then are the leaders of our country.
MCCAS CERTIFIED ESC PROVIDER!
Last school year 2022-2023, Mary Chiles went under recertification. Recertification is a process conducted where certifiers from the Department of Education and the PEAC National Secretariat Certification Unit inspect the schools providing education services under the Education Service Contracting Grant. This is done to make sure that private schools adhere to quality standards in the delivery of education to our Filipino students.
This certification was especially challenging as we just came off of a pandemic, and new modes of teaching delivery are being implemented. Teachers and students of MCCAS were interviewed, as well as administrators. Lesson plans, test materials, students' outputs - projects and performances were checked and inspected. School facilities, processes, and systems were monitored. Everything about the school underwent inspection and quality assurance. Even the qualification of the administrators, staff, and faculty was evaluated.
And MCCAS PASSED with Flying Colors!! This is a testament to the hard work and leadership that the administrators and teachers bring to the table day in and day out. There were challenges, struggles, and problems because nothing is perfect but together, with the dedication to our vision, mission, goals, and objectives, we shall continue to persevere and deliver quality educational services to our clientele.
Onward Mary Chiles!
