Jacob Goldstein

Head Coach - 8th Season

Coach Goldstein is entering his eighth season as the head boy's basketball coach at Bulls Prep. He joined the program in 2014 as an assistant coach in which he helped coach the team to its third Noble League Championship. Coach Goldstein inherited the Bulls Prep program the following year in October 2015 when he was named the second coach in program history. In five out of his six seasons as head coach, Bulls Prep has held a winning conference record, appeared in the Noble Conference Tournament, and advanced to the championship game three times. Under his leadership, Bulls Prep completed its best in-conference season in 2021, going undefeated in conference with a 10-0 record and winning Bulls Prep's 4th Noble League Basketball Championship.

Coach Goldstein was born in Chicago, IL and raised in Evanston, IL. He attended Oberlin College in Oberlin, OH where he was a four-year member of the basketball team and was named co-captain his senior year.

MICHAEL ORTIZ

JV Head Coach/Varsity Assistant Coach - 3rd Season

Coach Ortiz is entering his third season with Chicago Bulls College Prep and his second season as JV head coach. During his first season as JV head coach, he led the team to its first JV Noble League Championship during the 2021-22 season. Additionally, Coach Ortiz helped coach the team to its fourth Noble League Championship in 2021. He is a product of Noble Schools. While attending Rauner College Prep, Coach Ortiz played basketball all four years and was named captain his senior year. After graduating, he attended Wabash College where he worked with the basketball team in many different capacities. Coach Ortiz was born and raised in Chicago, IL.

George Beecham

Assistant Coach - 2nd Season

Coach Beecham is in his second season coaching with Chicago Bulls College Prep and is notably an alumnus of the Bulls Prep Basketball program. Coach Beecham was a 4-year starting point guard for Bulls Prep, winning one Junior Varsity Championship (’11), Two Varsity Championships (‘12 and ‘13), and receiving awards for team Most Valuable Player and the Toughness award.

Coach Beecham was born and raised in the west side of Chicago’s Austin neighborhood. After graduating from Chicago Bulls College Prep, he attended Amherst College in Amherst, MA and earned a B.A. in Biology. Coach Beecham is honored to return to Bulls Prep Boys’ Basketball and have an impact both on and off the court.
