Our three-course pathway—Foundations, Engineering Concepts, and Engineering Applications—builds from measurement and CAD to advanced, project-based engineering with manufacturing, robotics, and IoT.
Foundations of Engineering builds core skills in safety, precision measurement, and CAD (2D/3D). Students prototype with laser cutters/3D printers, wire simple sensors on Arduino, and document their work like real engineers. Emphasis is on problem-solving, teamwork, and the design–test–iterate cycle.

Engineering Concepts deepens design skills through real testing and optimization. Students analyze structures (e.g., balsa bridges), explore manufacturing methods (silicone molds, aluminum casting), and build working mechanisms. Teams document constraints, collect data, and iterate to improve performance and reliability.

Engineering Applications is a project-driven, advanced course focused on building and integrating systems. Students tackle CAD/CAM workflows, soldering and basic RF, an End-Fed Half-Wave antenna build, and microcontrollers used in a practical application.
