I was born in Savannah, GA, but I was raised in Portal. I graduated from Portal High School in 2011. I am a proud alumna of Georgia Southern University. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Middle Grades Education in 2015. I received my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2019. I also hold a Teacher Leader Endorsement. I am currently pursuing my Specialist's Degree in Secondary Education from Georgia Southern. I am scheduled to graduate in December 2021. This is my seventh year teaching and my fourth year at Statesboro High School. I have previously taught 6th grade science and 8th grade social studies. I am excited about the wonderful year ahead!
